Phiên bản WinBox 4 cuối cùng cũng đã có mặt, đầy đủ phiên bản dành cho Windows, macOS và Linux. Đội ngũ MikroTik đã làm việc rất chăm chỉ trong thời gian qua song đây vẫn là bản thử nghiệm Beta đầu tiên được công khai, chắc chắn rằng sẽ có rất nhiều thứ cần thay đổi. Đôi nét về ứng dụng WinBox 

WinBox là một tiện ích nhỏ cho phép quản lý các thiết bị MikroTik chạy hệ điều hành RouterOS thông qua giao diện đồ họa GUI trực quan, linh hoạt và đơn giản. Đây là một ứng dụng xây dựng trên nền tảng nhị phân Win32/Win64 gốc nhưng có thể chạy trên Linux và macOS (OSX) bằng Wine. 

Những thay đổi có mặt trên phiên bản Winbox 4

Như Việt Tuấn đã đề cập, Winbox 4 vẫn chỉ là bản Beta được công bố đầu tiên. Vì vậy, không phải tất cả các tính năng đều có sẵn. Tuy nhiên, chắc chắn rằng chúng sẽ sớm được ra mắt và bạn sẽ không phải đợi thêm quá lâu nữa. 

Có rất nhiều ý kiến từ các thành viên trong MikroTik Team trong việc thiết kế mới lại giao diện. Song điều này có thể dẫn đến việc khó làm quen,vì vậy MikroTik Team đã chọn việc giữ nguyên giao diện quen thuộc của ứng dụng WinBox 4 trong hầu hết các cài đặt. 

1 trong số những thông tin nổi bật có thể kể đến như:

  • WinBox 4 có hỗ trợ chế độ tối (Dark Mode) Nếu bạn đã quá chán với giao diện sáng của WinBox 4 thì hãy chuyển ngay sang Dark mode!
  • Ứng dụng được xây dựng hoàn toàn từ nền tảng Linux gốc.
  • WinBox 4 có thể chạy trực tiếp trên macOS thay vì người dùng hệ máy này sẽ phải sử dụng phần mềm hỗ trợ Wine. Để giải thích đơn giản cho bạn đọc thì Wine là một ứng dụng mã nguồn mở dùng để chạy các phần mềm viết cho Windows trên các hệ điều hành khác như Linux hoặc macOS 
  • WinBox 4 mới sẽ tương tự như phiên bản WinBox 3, bạn sẽ có 1 tệp EXE duy nhất để khởi động ứng dụng. Trong quá trình sử dụng, phần mềm này sẽ tự động tạo ra thư mục asset folder để lưu lại dữ liệu quan trọng.
